Scar tissue is still skin tissue. Although it has become scar tissue because the injury has caused the desmosomes to release new cells to surface much faster than the natural new cell proliferation. Scar tissue, like normal skin, can be softened, partially removed a de-pigmented to a large degree.

Alkaline Wash

What is it and how does it work?
Alkaline Wash is an alkaline powder that is mixed into a paste and applied to the desired area for a short period of time, depending on the coarseness of the hair. The treatment is NOT like a hair removal cream, it is of a much high pH, swelling the hair shaft and, as it dissolves the hair, some of the Alkaline Wash solution enters the hair shaft, damaging and weakening the papilla the hair grows from, reducing the hair regrowth.
